Outlook 2012 CE Presentation Proposal Guidelines
The Pharmacy Foundation of California
and the California Pharmacists Association invite university professors,
informal educators, pharmacy practitioners and other members of the pharmacy community to share their experience and expertise
with other pharmacy professionals by submitting a
proposal for an educational lecture or hands-on workshop at Outlook 2012,
scheduled February 2 – 5 in Sacramento, CA.
Outlook is the premier California
pharmacy convention co-hosted annually by the California Pharmacists
Association and the Pharmacy Foundation of California. Outlook draws
pharmacy professionals from throughout the state of California every year to
network, conduct business, earn quality continuing education and participate in
one of the largest state pharmacy exhibit programs in the nation.

Submission Process
1. Click
here to access the on-line Outlook 2012 CE Presentation Proposal Form.
There are 3 sections to complete:
Personal Information, Program Information and Acknowledgments. To help
applicants get through the form in a timely manner, we have created a guide to
what information will be needed to complete the Program Information section – click here.
2. Submit a current CV and brief bio to spresidio@pharmacyfoundation.org.
For full consideration, all information must be
received by May 2, 2011. Late submissions will be
considered on a space-available basis only and, if selected, may not appear in
the conference registration or promotional materials.
Review Process
An educational advisory committee will review submitted
requests and make recommendations about the proposals based on a variety of
factors including educational value, subject matter relevance, speaker
expertise and overall “fit” within the Outlook program. Space is limited and it is possible that not all of the
proposals received will be accepted.
All individuals will be notified by June
3, 2011, regarding the status of their proposal. At that time, applicants
whose proposals have been accepted will be provided with a speaker contract and
other forms necessary for the coordination of their program. All
other individuals will be placed on our waiting list and, in the
event that a space on the schedule becomes available, proposals on the "waiting list" will be
re-evaluated.
