The Pharmacy Foundation of California (PFC) held its Annual Appreciation & Awards Program on Friday, February 5, 2010, in conjunction with the annual pharmacy conference, Outlook 2010.  PFC's award recipients, Robert C. Johnson Scholarship recipients and the winner of the California Statewide Patient Counseling Competition were honored for their outstanding achievements.  PFC also recognized the dedication and contributions of their Corporate Advisory Board members, various committee members, volunteers, corporate sponsors and private donors.  The event also featured the winners of the Robert C. Johnson Scholarship presenting their proposals designed to give patients and caregivers an appreciation for the serious risks associated with unsafe medication use and promote the adoption of “safe medication use behaviors”.
